Hi, I’m Bre K.
The person behind Nervana.
This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in.
I created Nervana from my own desire to understand the body beyond isolated muscles, symptoms, and simple explanations.
My work began with bodywork and grew into a deeper exploration of anatomy, fascia, the nervous system, movement, sensory awareness, psychology, biomechanics, and the ways our experiences become expressed through the body.
I wanted a system that could hold both science and lived experience.
A system that could explain how the body adapts without judging those adaptations.
A system that made complex information easier to understand without removing its depth.
Nervana is the result of that exploration.
It continues to grow as I learn, work with people, study the body, and listen to the living conversation happening beneath the surface of everyday life.
My role is not to tell you exactly what your body means.
My role is to help you develop the awareness, language, and tools to explore that conversation for yourself.
My Approach
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more.
I look at the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated parts.
Pain, tension, posture, breath, movement, nervous system state, fascia, sensory input, environment, and lived experience can all influence one another. Because of that, I do not begin with the assumption that the place you feel something is always the place it started.
My approach is built around three principles:
Awareness before assumption.
We observe what the body is doing before deciding what it means.
Capacity before intensity.
More pressure, stretching, effort, or stimulation is not always better. The body changes through timing, repetition, recovery, and the ability to integrate new input.
Connection before correction.
The goal is not to constantly fix yourself. It is to understand your body well enough to respond with more choice.
Nervana combines bodywork, nervous system education, fascia, biomechanics, breath, movement, sensory awareness, and the M.I.N.D → S.P.I.N.E framework to help you understand the conversation happening throughout your whole system.
